Oregon Historical Society Internship

Project Title: Oregon Historical Quarterly Internship
(Unpaid internship)

DEPARTMENT: OHQ / Publications

PROJECT: Assist in production of the Oregon Historical Quarterly.

Responsibilities: The intern for this project will:
· Check facts and quotes in manuscripts for accuracy.
· Research photographs and other illustrations to accompany articles.
· Assist in production of the Quarterly including page layout and proofreading.

Qualifications:
· Organized and detail-oriented.
· Experience with writing and editing.
· Self-motivated with flexible schedule.
· Experience with research using historical documents.

Time Commitment: Fall Semester 2007, 6-10 hours a week

Supervisor: Eliza Canty-Jones, Editor, Oregon Historical Quarterly
